What do you do when your lawn is in standing water?

Plant a wetland habitat!

This lawn was unusable because it was constantly soaking wet.

In our principle of working with nature, we suggested the client think about installing a wetland habitat. To our delight, the client showed a rare commitment to fostering biodiversity. We designed a plan to bring in over 100 varieties of native wetland habitat perennials.

Since it was planted in 2018, this habitat planting continues to amaze us. We have seen a tremendous increase in native pollinators, frogs, birds, predatory birds, and more.

Today this garden is truly a wonder to behold. It was featured in the 2019 Hidden Garden Tour.
