Seamus Donahoe
Seamus is a native of the upper Hudson Valley. He studied cinematic design and production at Emerson College, learning the techniques and theory of collaborative artistic expression. After discovering the realities of our dying environment, caused by our failing economic systems, he became committed to changing the way we treat the nature around and within us. Prior to Rise & Run he worked for seven years on various organic farms in Columbia County and with Callander’s Nursery in Chatham, NY, running landcare crews, and building a one-on-one vegetable gardening service for their clientele. He received his Permaculture Design Certificate in 2016 from Milkwood Permaculture in Sydney, Australia, and is currently enrolled in Berkshire Botanical Garden’s Horticulture Certificate program.
